NVQ Certificate in ITQ – IT User Skills (Level 3)
This course is aimed at anybody who uses a computer, with various software applications, on a regular basis.
What will I study?Study method
Students are visited in the
workplace by a tutor/trainer/assessor who will run through the
various elements and criteria for each unit and provide training
where necessary. You will then apply these new skills to your work
and produce evidence to demonstrate your ability. Evidence examples
could be screen shots, files or documents produced, Q&A.
To achieve the Certificate, the student must complete a selection of the following units – totalling 25 points

Assessments will be carried out on your daily activities using a range of planned assessment methods i.e. observation, discussion and questioning.
How will the course be delivered?The course should be completed within 9 – 12 months (however some people complete the course quicker than others).
Course Entry RequirementsNo entry criteria, all welcome
The college operates a no refunds policy as detailed below. Cancellations and transfer requests are subject to the following conditions:
- More than 4 weeks notice – no charge
- 4 weeks notice – 30% of the cost
- 2-3 weeks notice – 50% of the cost
- 1-2 weeks notice – 75% of the cost
- Less than 1 weeks notice – 100% of the cost
All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to a £10 administration charge. The full fee’s policy is available on request.
