CIEH Award in Food Safety & Catering L2

Who is this course for? Anyone who works or wishes to work in the hospitality and catering industry and requires evidence of training in food safety. All people working with food must by law have received training in food safety! What qualifications or experience do I need ? None. Your place is not secured or reserved until you have fully enrolled. What will I study ? Holders of this qualification will have knowledge and understanding of the importance of food hygiene, associated food hazards, good hygiene practice and controls based upon an awareness of food safety management systems. Holders will know how to maintain good practice in the handling, processing and preparation of safe food. How will I be assessed ? By a multiple choice exam at the end of course. What qualifications could I achieve ? A level 2 Award in Food Safety What can the course lead to ? This course provides the necessary documentation to ensure the candidate, if successful, is compliant with Food Safety Legislation and can lead to the level 3 award in supervising food safety. How do I join the course ?
