This course is for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. It aims to develop your personal independence and life skills. It provides you with opportunities to develop communication, life skills, problem solving, decision making and practical independent living skills.
You learn and improve various skills to increase your independence.
Assessment is through the development of a portfolio of evidence to meet accrediting body requirements.
Learning is through practical activity including teamwork group work projects and external visits into the local community.
You gain the Award in Independent Living Entry 1.
