The CIEH Level 4 Award in Food Safety has been designed as a five day programme to provide an in-depth understanding of food safety with an emphasis on the importance of the management of systems and staff.

The learning outcomes are as follows:

  • Identify areas for legal compliance
  • Design an improvement plan
  • Deliver the CIEH Level 3 Award in Food Safety (with appropriate training skills)

How will the course be delivered?

Through classroom based activities alongside a tutor and other delegates at a similar level. There will be a 2 hour examination on day 3 of the course.

Course Entry Criteria

The course is aimed at delegates who have an understanding and knowledge of food hygiene.

It is essential that individuals have an adequate level of English to understand the information delivered by the tutor. All delegates are required, prior to the commencement of the course, to state that their English skills are at an appropriate level. If it becomes apparent that an individual does not understand the content, the individual will not be able to complete the course but will still be charged the full fee.

The college operates a no refunds policy as detailed below. Cancellations and transfer requests are subject to the following conditions:

  • More than 4 weeks notice – no charge
  • 4 weeks notice – 30% of the cost
  • 2-3 weeks notice – 50% of the cost
  • 1-2 weeks notice – 75% of the cost
  • Less than 1 weeks notice – 100% of the cost

All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to a £10 administration charge. The full fee’s policy is available on request.

What will I get at the end of the course?

You will receive a CIEH Level 4 Food Safety Certificate upon successful achievement.

How much does it cost?

The cost of the course is £270.00 per delegate (prices subject to change) which includes tuition, CIEH registration and certification fees.
