Description
This new qualification introduces students to the concept of enterprise and is suitable for students who have an interest in setting up their own business by developing their entrepreneurial skills. The qualification has been developed in conjunction with the National Enterprise Academy. The qualification carries the same UCAS tariff as equivalent Level 3 Business qualifications.

Entry Requirements
Students will need a minimum of five GCSE subjects at Grade C or above, at least one of which must be either Mathematics or English Language. Students with a suitable Level 2 qualification will require a minimum Merit grade plus either Mathematics or English Language at a grade C or above. Students should have an interest in the possibilities of setting up their own business. All applicants will require a satisfactory reference and student profile.
Delivery & Assessment methods
A range of delivery methods will be used with a focus on students developing the skills to set up and run a business.
Progression
Successful completion of Year one will give students progression opportunities onto Year 2 where they will be expected to set up and run a small business
