Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Diploma Level 2

Who is this course for?

This course is aimed at those:

• Wishing to set up their own business
• Wishing to develop their enterprise skills
• Wanting to achieve a full Level 2 qualification (equivalent to 4 GCSE Grade C or above) and improve Maths & English skills

This course is primarily aimed at 16-18 year olds.

What will I do on the course?

On this course you will:

• Develop Business planning skills, and produce a realistic business plan
• Improve presentation skills, and pitch a business idea 'Dragon's Den' style
• Develop an entrepreneurial mindset & focus on the personal development you need to become a successful entrepreneur
• All learners will be required to take part in Maths & English classes, and to undertake work awareness activities throughout the duration of the programme

What qualifications do I need?

4 GCSE grade D (one of which must be Maths or English), OR A Level 1 qualification in a relevant vocational area, plus Grade D or Level 1 in either Maths or English

£599 for learners aged 19+

What could I do after completing the course?

You could either progress to L3 Business courses, seek employment or develop your own enterprise activity.

How will I be assessed?

Via portfolio of assessment including written coursework, observations, workbooks and simulations.

What equipment will I need?

No specialist equipment required other than stationery and a USB memory device.
