What qualifications or skills do I require to study this course?

To get in ... and get on – you will need A minimum of four GCSEs at grades D – G, English and Maths at grades D – E. or Other equivalent Level 1 qualifications at Merit level or Higher (including English and Maths).

What does the course involve?

You will develop business skills, relevant to today’s fast moving environment through a learning by doing mantra. You will explore the following units and develop a range of skills: The Entrepreneurial Mindset Creating a Vision for your Business Plan The Business Environment Researching your Market The Marketing Plan Financial Modelling and Forecasting Preparing and Pitching a Business Plan Leadership and Teamwork Toolkits for Idea Generation Managing Personal Finances Enterprise in the Workplace Functional skills (English, Maths and ICT) are delivered as an integral part of the course and you will be expected to take an exam in literacy and numeracy.
