This qualification is a specialist work-related programme of study that covers the key knowledge and practical skills required in the travel and tourism industry. Students are given the opportunity to develop a broad range of knowledge from the sector, examining the different travel and tourism industry components and how they work together. Skills and knowledge are developed through a portfolio of case studies, projects and work related scenarios.

- Functional Skills English and ICT will be embedded into some of the units.
Entry Requirements
Four GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including Mathematics and English. A positive school or college reference with good levels of attendance and punctuality will also be required.
Progression
On completion of the course, students could progress onto the Level 3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism or move directly into employment within the travel and tourism industry.
