Description
This three unit practical based course is designed to give a range of media and film based skills.
Students will use industry-standard software packages and develop their talents to meet the needs of a range of industry sectors.
Course content
Students will complete practical assignments using a range of media including moving image and audio. They will work following industry practice and will have the opportunity to engage in live briefs.
- Print production
- Pre-Production techniques
- Single Camera techniques
- Photography
- Media broadcasting
Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs at grade C or above including Mathematics and English and a minimum average points score of 4.9.

This course can be topped up to a Subsidiary Diploma (6 units) in the second year.
