This course provides an opportunity for students to achieve a vocational qualification in dental technology, and enables them to register with the General Dental Council as a dental technician.

Entry Requirements
A minimum of four GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Mathematics and Science (or equivalent), or a Merit grade on the BTEC Level 2.
Delivery & Assessment methods
Practical and theory based learning Strong emphasis on skills development. Work placement in the 2nd year of study Assessment by assignments, viva volce, practical projects, and termly exams.
Progression
Foundation Degree in Dental Technology, BSc Honours in Dental Technology or into full time employment to work as a dental technician.
