Dental Radiography: Principles and Practice
Aims
This advanced course will enable dental professionals to use ionising radiation safely, in the production of diagnostic images. It will provide adequate training as required by the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations, IR(ME)R 2000, and will enable dental professionals to take intraoral and panoramic projections commonly used in dental practice.
Objectives
You will then undertake approximately 6 months of clinical experience in your own practice.
The course will enable students to take high quality images of the areas currently required in dental practice.
The course is open to Dental Nurses, Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists with relevant experience. Suppor…
