Explore Creative Computing (Level 2 BTEC Diploma)

This course is taught in the context of real jobs and careers in the ICT sector. This gives the chance to explore the opportunities offered in that sector and to acquire appropriate vocational skills. The course is equivalent to four GCSEs grade A - C.

Entry Requirements

All candidates will be required to attend an interview with the course leader. A satisfactory reference from previous tutor/school will be required showing commitment, good attendance and punctuality. Four GCSEs at grade D or above, including Maths and English, or a Merit at BTEC Level 1 ICT or equivalent ICT qualification at Level 1.

Progression

Successful completion of the course with appropriate grade profile will allow students to progress onto Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in IT. Successful applicants will also be required to have a good personal tutor reference, attendance, commitment and punctuality records.
