Description
This course is designed to train delegates by use of practical exercises how to respond in the event of an emergency situation.
Course content
By the end of the training session delegates will be able to:
- Undertake casualty assessment
- Deal with unconsciousness
- Undertake CPR
- Communicate with the emergency services
- Deal with wounds and bleeding
Completion of the course will provide delegates with updates on First Aid procedures.
Entry Requirements
This course is ideal for anyone with no previous knowledge of first aid who would benefit from basic training.
Delivery & Assessment methods
The course is assessed via examination. Minimum 12 hours, normally run over 2 days.
