CIPD level 3 Certificate in Human Resources

he CIPD CHRP is a Foundation Level qualification designed to reflect the CIPD HR Profession Map and the new professional membership criteria.

Completion of this certificate gives you the underpinning knowledge required for the new Associate professional grade of CIPD membership.

Course content

• Developing yourself as an effective human resource practitioner
• Understanding organisations and the role of human resources
• Recording, analysing and using human resource information
• Supporting good practice in managing employment relations
• Supporting good practice in performance management and reward
• Delivering learning and development activities

On induction to the CHRP a course handbook and full use of all learning resources will be made available to you.

Entry Requirements

Learners should be working in a HR environment or aspiring to such employment. There are no formal entry requirements although learners may be asked to complete a short entry assessment.

Delivery & Assessment methods

The methods of assessment and teaching strategies are varied in a bid to engage HR learners. You will be required to complete assignments and do presentations Students are required to attended college for three Saturday workshops during the year. The final one consists of assessed group presentations.

Progression

This course will facilitate further HR learning, it will equip you with all of the knowledge and skills to progress onto the CIPD Level 5 Certificate in Human Resource Management, and then complete the full CIPD Post graduate Diploma in HRM qualification (Advanced Level).
