The CIPD Foundation Level Awards in Human Resources and Learning and Development at the City of Glasgow College are foundation-level courses and are the ideal way of building up modules towards a Foundation Certificate or they may be taken as stand-alone modules for those interested in updating their knowledge and skills. It’s ideal for anyone who works in a generalist or specialist personnel or HR position.

On completion you’ll gain a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Award, which will count towards the qualification requirements for Associate Membership of the CIPD.

  • Supporting Change within Organisations
  • Undertaking a Learning Needs Analysis
  • Evaluating Learning and Development Activities
  • Preparing and Designing Learning and Development Activities
  • Supporting Good Practice in Performance & Reward Management
  • Recording Analysing & Using HR information
  • Resourcing Talent
  • Delivering Learning & Development Activities
  • Developing Coaching Skills for the Workplace
  • Developing Yourself as an Effective Practitioner
After The Course:

Once you have your award, you can go on to study the other foundation level awards or complete the Foundation Level Certificate in either Human Resource Practice or Learning & Development Practice.

Allan Glen's Campus

Dates:

Courses start September on a Tuesday evening from 6pm-9pm.
Each module varies in length from 4 – 10 weeks approximately.
