Course content
This is a full time course and students will achieve a number of qualifications and will study and number of subjects including:
- Book-keeping (manual and computerised)
- Costing
- Working in a business environment
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- Additional qualifications, Including - Certificate in Personal and Business Finance Certificate in Worksills English for Accounting or ICT for Accounting and Business.
This is a very demanding course. Students will be expected to attend all classes and will be required to undertake homework and a significant amount of independent study outside the classroom.
Entry Requirements
Students wishing to start this course must have four GCSEs at grade C or above including Mathematics and/or English or their equivalent. All applicants will have a formal interview prior to acceptance on the course and be required to provide a reference from their last educational establishment.
Delivery & Assessment methods
The majority of the course is assessed by formal computerised examinations with some assignment work.
Progression
Successful students will progress onto the full time Accounting - Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and Business (inc AAT level 3)
