Description
This subject gives a detailed introduction to the workings of the English Legal System. In addition, students will explore the areas of Criminal Law and the Law of Tort.
Course content
- Law Making and the Legal System
- Concepts of Liability
Delivery & Assessment methods
Student progress will be assessed through homework and in-class assessment. Students will sit external examinations in January and June to achieve an AS Law grade
Progression
Students who pass AS Law with at least a Grade E will be able to progress onto the second year of the course to study for the full A level in Law.
