- Criminal Law 1: Murder, Manslaughter, Non Fatal Offences Against the Person, Defences & Evaluation.
- Criminal Law 2 & Concepts of Law: Theft, Robbery, Burglary, Blackmail, Fraud, Criminal Damage, Making off Without Payment, Defences, Law and Morals, Judicial Creativity, & Law and Fault.
Assessment Method
Year one: Two examinations, one of which may be taken in January, with the remainder in May. Each examination lasts 1 _ hours and is relevant to one module. Year two: Two examinations, one of which may be taken in January, with the remainder in June. Each examination lasts 1_ or 2 hours and is relevant to one module. NB: There is no coursework for this subject.
Progression
Law is useful not only for budding lawyers but is also relevant to all sorts of professions (e.g. accountancy, sales and human resource management), whether or not you plan to go to university. The Institute of Legal Executives gives an exemption from the Law aspect of its Part One course if you have an A-Level in Law.

Entry Requirements
No previous knowledge of the subject is required. However GCSE English at Grade B or above is preferable.
