Who is this course for? Students with severe learning disabilities and not on the autistic spectrum, aged between 18 - 25, the learners will benefit from working in a structured small group environment, who'll be working through M5 - M8 to develop their communication skills, their personal and social development, their interactions with others and basic skills. What qualifications or experience do I need ? Prospective candidates need to be working between milestones 5 - 8; candidates will be individually assessed for their suitability against the criteria, the expected course content and the accreditation on offer. Base line and initial assessments, individual learning plans which include set learning goals against the learning milestones, individuals completed work. What qualifications could I achieve ? College certificate to award attendance and participation National skills award What can the course lead to ? Internal progression onto courses at GP, enterprise activities including exhibitions and sales, possible work experiences. How do I join the course ?
