AS Music (Infill)

Who is this course for? A student who wishes to study full-time to progress to university courses having recently achieved a range of GCSE qualifications. What qualifications or experience do I need ? GCSE grades A* - C in at least five academic subjects in one sitting. You must have at least a grade B in GCSE Music and be at least Grade 5 or above on an instrument. What will I study ? Performing, composing, listening and analysis. You will study a wide range of musical styles and genres. How will I be assessed ? Exam and coursework. What qualifications could I achieve ? On successful completion of this course, you will achieve AS Level Certificates in each subject on your programme. What can the course lead to ? On successful completion of this course, you may progress to Year 2 of the A Level Progarmme. How do I join the course ? You must complete a full-time application form and make an appointment for an interview with a tutor. Will I need an interview ? References will be required from your previous educational establishment. Are there any extra costs for equipment/materials ?
