Introduction

This course will enable students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to build on existing strengths and develop confidence, creativity and personal skills. There are also a number of vocational options to prepare you for the workplace or progression to vocational courses.

What Will I Learn

You will learn to develop your strengths, gain new skills and experience a variety of vocational options, as well as build you confidence and work towards gaining employment.

Entry Requirements

There are no minimum entry requirements, but you will need to show a high level of commitment to the programme. You will also need to attend an interview and will need to provide a reference.

Additional Information

This course may provide a work experience opportunity within the College. As part of this course you will also complete a Functional Skills qualification in English.

Progression

Upon completion, you may be able to progress to other College courses within the Foundation Learning Tier or mainstream provision.

Career Opportunities

These courses will provide grounding for entry into paid or voluntary employment.
