Introduction

The Edexcel Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools has been approved as one of the components of the Supporting Teaching and Learning Apprenticeship framework. The qualification has been designed to assess the knowledge and competence required to work in the sector. This qualification incorporates the units in the Award and adds competency-based units to reflect the role of those supporting pupils’ learning.
