This three-week course has two principal aims.
It is designed for those:
- whose knowledge of Hebrew has diminished through non-use, even though they have had some previous exposure to the language;
- who wish to build on their knowledge by moving forward into new aspects of Biblical Hebrew.
The course will particularly benefit those who wish to understand the Hebrew text at a deeper level, and give tools which will enable a more precise exegesis and translation.
Come prepared for an intense 3 weeks and to cover a lot of ground, but we aim to create a relaxed atmosphere to encourage maximum learning with minimum stress!

We particularly recommend Biblical Hebrew Beyond Basics for anyone wishing to take either Intermediate Level training for an assignment with SIL following an initial field term, or as training towards an Advanced Level role with SIL. Nevertheless, we welcome those not working in an SIL context too.
