What will I study?
Using a range of rehearsal amd performance opportunities, you will develop your practical performance skills and study areas such as composition, theory and harmony, improvisation, music business, performance practice and music technology.What does the course lead to?
Upon completion of the course there are a wide range of career opportunities available to you within the music industry. You could also opt to undertake a university level qualification such as the HND in music (available at Vision West Notts) or any other related qualifications.Entry requirements
Four GCSEs at grade C or above including English (or a recognised literacy/communication qualification), or a Level 2 Diploma or equivalent in a relevant subject with a Merit profile. Some music performance and/or music technology experience is necessary.Mature applicants who do not have these qualifications may still be eligible, subject to an interview. All applicants need to demonstrate an interest in and commitment to aspects of music and will be required to attend an interview.
