You are required to carry out a number of practical skills and assignments for your assessment. For an endorsed certificate at Level 2 you will have to achieve 3 core units and 1 occupational unit.There are 4 multiple-choice examinations, one for each unit, plus two 10 hour practical tests.
What does the course lead to?
There is a natural progression onto the Level 3 Certificate which provides signposting for Apprenticeship and Advanced Apprenticeship for the electrical industry.You will also be given the opportunity to enrich your programme with extra activities and external visits and events. This course will provide you with the background knowledge to progress to NVQs and embark on a career in the electrical industry.
Entry requirements
You will need to successfully complete an aptitude test prior to being accepted on the course. Your experience and the result of your interview/test will determine the level you start at.What can I do next?
