This course is a great introduction to Brickwork skills and could lead to further study towards a trade qualification.

A Bricklaying Basic Skills workbook will be given to the learner at the beginning of the course and each section is worked through at the learners own individual pace.

This course can be done as a stand alone course or can follow on from the Introduction to Brickwork Skills course or Build a Brick Wall course, where the learner will continue to work through the workbook.

Once learners have completed the Workbook, they can progress onto more advanced Brickwork skills if appropriate.

  • Blocks and Blockwork

What does the course lead to?

Progression onto more advanced Brickwork Skills, possibly leading to the Foundation Construction Award in Brickwork through tutor discussion.
