LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA IN CONSTRUCTION & BUILT ENVIRONMENT
The course has both theory and practical parts which will
prepare you for work in Construction. You will learn:
- Health & Safety Techniques
- Operating Methods & Structure of the Industry
- Sustainability
- Construction Mathematical Techniques
- Drawing Methods
- Introduction to multi skill practical subjects such as
Painting, Carpentry and Brickwork
Essential skills sessions will also be provided to support and develop numeracy and literacy skills along with an Introduction to Employment and an Introduction to BIM.

What qualifications you need
Applicants are required to have achieved at least 4 GCSEs at
grades A* to D including Maths and English or successful completion
of a relevant Level 1 qualification or experience. You will be
required to attend an interview with the Course Tutor.
Candidates will need to provide suitable clothing and safety footwear for practical workshop sessions. Stationery equipment and materials will also be required.
Where to next
Candidates can progress to Level 3 Construction and the Built Environment or into a trade of your choice at Level 1.
