The specialist units have been selected to suit both the demographic of local employers and give the student a balance between the different elements of electrical and electronic engineering.
How long is the course?
This is a one-year course over two semesters based on attendance of one day a week, with three units studied in each semester. The semesters for the course run from September to January and February to June.How will I be assessed?
The course is assessed through assignment based coursework. Each unit will contain a number of individual assignments to cover the specification content.What does the course lead to?
The course can form the basis of a Technical Certificate of an Apprenticeship Framework, and also allows the student to move on to a BTEC Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.Entry requirements
To gain entry to the course the students are expected to have achieved a minimum of four GCSE qualifications at grade C or above in English, Mathematics, Science and another related subject.How do I apply?
