Course Details The Certificates and Diplomas in Engineering will

Course For Anyone aged 16 or over, looking to start or progress
their career in engineering. Entry Requirements Level 1: This level
is ideal for school leavers considering a career in engineering and
will provide a basic understanding of engineering principles. No
formal entry requirements are required. Level 2: Choose this level
if you are a school leaver with some engineering knowledge and
experience, or you require some engineering skills in your role.
You will develop your understanding and practical experience of
specific engineering technologies. It can also be used as part of
an Engineering Apprenticeship. You will need four GCSEs at grades
D-E or above, or a Level 1 pass. Level 3: This provides more
experienced learners with an understanding and practical experience
of specialist engineering technologies and principles. It can also
be used as part of an Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship. You will
need four GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and Science,
or Engineering BTEC Level 2 with an average grade of ‘merit’.
Assessment Assessment will be a mixture of practical assignments
and written and on-line testing.
