What will I study?
Your advanced apprenticeship is made up of the following elements to complete your framework:
- NVQ Level 3 in Driving Goods Vehicles
- Edexcel BTEC Certificate Level 3 in Road Freight Logistics
- Key skills application of number
- Key skills communications
What does the course lead to?
You will be qualified as a HGV driver team leader or manager.What can I go on to study?
You can further your skills and experience by studying a foundation degree.Entry requirements
You must have achieved a relevant Level 2 qualification to progress onto the advanced apprenticeship.You must be in an employed position in a supervisory role related to HGV driving.
How much does it cost?
If you are between the age of 16 and 18 the apprenticeship is free of charge. If you are 19 and above your employer must pay a one off fee.During your apprenticeship your employer is obliged to pay you a wage at the minimum rate for an apprentice.
