Entry requirements You must be employed for at least 30 hours/week. Who is it for? The Diploma is for anyone who works within a hotel/hotel spa reception. CostAged 16-18

Aged 24 and over
Total People require employers to make a contribution towards the cost for all learners aged 24 years and over, embarking on an Apprenticeship or Advanced Apprenticeship programme.
Duration 12 months Start date Available all year Assessment method You will put together a portfolio of evidence that will be assessed using a range of methods. Observation of real work will be used for all competence based units, in addition you will be asked to provide witness testimony and discussion and carry out knowledge based questions. Personal qualities To work in a catering environment you will need to have the following personal qualities:
- Team worker
- Good personal and people skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Able to follow instructions
Further progression Once you have completed your Apprenticeship you can look at moving on to Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership.
