Qualifications
- Apprenticeship in Equestrian
- Level 2 Diploma in work-based Horse Care: either Horse Care, Horse Care with riding or Breeding (depending on job role)
- Technical Certificate (1 of the below)
- BHEST Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Horse Care
- EQL Level 2 Award in the Principles of Horse Care
- Functional Skills Level 1 Application of Number
- Functional Skills Level 1 Communication
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities

- Maintain and develop personal performance
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
A variety of optional units are available depending on your job role and Level 2 Diploma.
Entry requirements Employed in a related job role for at least 30 hours/week Who is it for? Suitable for these types of job role:

CostAged 16-18
Fully funded
16–19 year olds are fully funded at charitable organisations on a voluntary basis working at least 30 hours/week.
Aged 19-23
Fully funded for employers with less than 1000 employees. For employers with 1000+ employees, please contact us for further details.
Aged 24 and over
Total People require employers to make a contribution towards the cost for all learners aged 24 years and over, embarking on an Apprenticeship or Advanced Apprenticeship programme.
