Description
This course is for those who wish to progress their career in brickwork and who have achieved their level 2 qualification.
The course involves 3 days a week at college consisting of practical assessments within the college workshops and theory based work with on-going unit tests carried out throughout the year.
Functional skills is incorporated into the course, with additional support available for those identified as requiring extra help in order to achieve at these levels.
There is also an end of year on-line examination.

End Qualification:
Level 3 Diploma in Brickwork
Entry Requirements:

You will need to have achieved your level
2 qualification.
You will be assessed on your potential to achieve the level 3
award. This will depend on your current level of knowledge and
current achievements.
You will undergo a diagnostic test to assess at what level your
maths and English are at so as to be able to work to the required
level 2 standard.
Assessment:
College assessments, internal and external exams and portfolio of evidence.
Progression from this course:
Progression into employment or a conversion course to take you on to HNC/D.

Course Costs:
All students on full-time courses will need to pay a materials / resources fee. Details will be provided before enrolment. If you are under 19 on 31st August in the year you begin your programme, you will not have to pay tuition or registration fees for your course. For students aged 19 or over, there will be a tuition fee (depends on the course) for each year of the course as well as a registration fee (which includes exam fees). However, many students will be eligible for reduced fees and / or financial support towards the costs. Click here for detailed information.
