and motivation.
The full time Cabin Crew programme comprises of 6 units of study,
which you are required to complete over the duration of 1 year.
The content of the programme will cover Core units plus additional
qualifications relevant to the overall programme:
Unit 201 Introduction to Airline/Aviation Operations, Unit 202
Airline Health, Safety and Security
Unit 203 Airline Emergency Procedures, Unit 204 Cabin Crew Room
Duties, Unit 205 Role of Air Cabin Crew (On Board), Unit 206
Preparation for Employment as Air Cabin Crew Entry Qualification:
To enter this programme you will need to have travel industry
experience or an appropriate travel/leisure and tourism
qualification at level 2. You should have a Grade C in Maths and/or
English or equivalent. Ideally be aged 17 years or over for
employability reasons. Special Features: This course aims to
prepare you for a range of career opportunities within the Airline
industry. It will provide you with specialised studies that are
directly relevant to individual vocations and professions in the
airline industry. You will learn the knowledge, skills and
motivation for employment in the aviation industry. To enhance
employability some units are in association with Servisair training
standards to gain accreditation and opportunities in to Airport
employment. There will also be further optional qualifications
offered at the end of the programme e.g. customer service,
passenger service agents & resort representatives.
You will go on several trips, where you will see firsthand how
functions work in industry. Trips will include visits to The Thomas
Cook Cabin Crew Assessment Centre, where you will gain an insight
into the training undertaken by airline cabin crew upon
recruitment. We do ask for a contribution towards your educational
trips and uniform of £150.00 which is payable at the beginning of
term. Progression: Employment into a Cabin Crew related position or
NVQ in Travel and Tourism Services or a BTEC National Diploma in
Travel and Tourism.
In addition, working alongside real industry guidelines and
training standards in association with Servisair will enable
excellent employment opportunities.

in Hold and Hand Baggage, Health and Safety, Boarding, and
Dangerous Goods Regulations
