Internal assessors fully understand what is required for the job. They can also spend more time supporting each trainee and work with them through their problems, as well as deciding when they are ready for assessment. This has benefits to the individual in terms of the support they receive, as well as for the company in ensuring both the quality of the programme and that assessment is of what is required for the job.
This course is no concessions, and requires an interview.
What do I need to get on this course?
You need to have up to date working knowledge and practical experience in a vocational area, or have just completed an QCF. This qualification will allow for the assessment of candidates in your area of expertise.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is carried out through observation and you will put together a portfolio of evidence, which will also be assessed.
Where does it lead?
The course allows you to become an QCF Assessor in your existing workplace or can help you gain employment as an Assessor. Many people progress onto the V1 Verifier course after this to further their career prospects.
