Who is this course for?

The City & Guilds/AMSPAR Level 5 Certificate and Diploma in Primary Care and Health Management are designed specifically for existing and aspiring managers working or who wish to work in a primary care or in a health / social care environment. These qualifications allow candidates to learn and develop the skills required for employment and/or career progression in general practice and related organisations. The Diploma offers candidates the opportunity to broaden their understanding of management theory and techniques and apply these to meet the challenges of initiating and implementing change and quality improvement

What will I do on the course?

Research and group discussion of modular topics, including the production of presentations and written essays to demonstrate the ability to evaluate, analyse, and create systematic arguments, in conjunction with sourcing a broad range of literature



What qualifications do I need?

Candidates should be educated to a minimum of a level 3 standard of education and have a standard of written and verbal English broadly equivalent to the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English – CAE

How will I be assessed?

Candidates will be required to complete assignments for each Unit and a business case, oral presentation and business plan
