Student quote

Joanna Rewolinska

“The course is a three-year degree with strong business element and up-to-date tourism sector information, and has given me the opportunity to keep abreast of the latest issues around the world.

“All the units were very practical in nature and well-experienced, friendly and approachable teaching staff helped me to develop and expand my communication and presentation skills. Furthermore, I was taught to use important research tools such as university libraries, online databases and peer-reviewed journals, as well as how to distinguish legitimate from faulty information.

“As a part of the degree I spent the second academic year studying in Spain, which expanded my horizons, introduced me to new cultures of other exchange students, and broadened my knowledge about other countries.

“I would like to say that my course at Southampton Solent University has been a wonderful journey and a good experience.”
