You will need to be working full-time in a professional establishment and your employer will need to agree to support you in your training which involves giving you time to attend college and accommodating work-based assessments. A recent school report and employer reference is asked for.

You will have an interview and a diagnostic assessment to ensure the course will suit you. There are no other restrictions to becoming an apprentice except that you need to be over the age of 16 and to have been settled in the UK for at least the past three years.

On successful completion of the Level 2 Apprenticeship there is the opportunity to move on to a part-time Level 3 course.
