On this apprenticeship, you would earn as you learn gaining practical experience and knowledge in installing and maintaining refrigeration systems. You will be working for an employer, possibly as a refrigeration operative, installing, servicing and repairing refrigeration systems. You will be working most of the time getting hands on experience, and also attend college on a day release basis to improve your theoretical knowledge.

This apprenticeship will provide you with the competence, skills and knowledge to work effectively and efficiently within the refrigeration profession. As you progress through your apprenticeship you will go from learning about the basics of refrigeration to installing whole systems and understanding the importance of maintenance. You will spend most of your time working for your employer, gaining practical skills and experience. You will also attend college on a day release basis improving your theoretical knowledge.
