Healthcare, Midwifery and Nursing Access to Higher Education Diploma

The part time Access to Higher Education Diploma is designed for students who want to progress to university. Our part time evening course is an intensive programme of study that offers adult learners high quality teaching in a friendly and supportive environment.

This is an intensive course covering Health Studies Psychology and Human Biology. There is also a toolkit/study skills module. The course is designed for adult learners who have the relevant work experience but lack the academic qualifications to progress to university.

The course is modular and is taught through a combination of lectures group work and independent learning activities.

The course is taught by experienced subject specialists. You will have access to our learning resource centre and support with your university application. With hard work commitment and determination you will gain an Access to Higher Education Diploma.

Relevant work experience. GCSE or Level 2 equivalent in English and Maths.

Past students have moved onto degrees in Nursing Midwifery and other health related courses. The Access course also develops your employability skills.
