This course is aimed at adult learners who wish to increase their understanding of the French language. You should have completed a French for beginners course or similar and should have a basic understanding of present tense French. Please note this is an examined course and you will be expected to complete the examination in June.

All our classes are for adult students only (you must be 19 years old or over to join). You will learn through a series of class, small group and one-to-one activities, led by an experienced French tutor. Assessments will be continuous throughout the course but we have designed them so that they are enjoyable and informative.
Course Entry CriteriaCandidates should have completed a beginners or improvers course prior to starting this course. This course requires a commitment to sitting a GCSE exam in June 2013.
The college operates a no refunds policy as detailed below. Cancellations and transfer requests are subject to the following conditions:
- More than 4 weeks notice – no charge
- 4 weeks notice – 30% of the cost
- 2-3 weeks notice – 50% of the cost
- 1-2 weeks notice – 75% of the cost
- Less than 1 weeks notice – 100% of the cost
All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to a £10 administration charge. The full fee’s policy is available on request.
What will I get at the end of the course?You can achieve up to grade A* in GCSE French.
How much does it cost?£238.00 per person (unfortunatly there is no funding available for this course) payment in instalments by direct debit available.
