Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS)
DTLLS is the required qualification for teachers who work in a full teaching role teaching and who wish to obtain qualified status in the teaching and learning sector. This completion course is for those students wishing to progress to Year 2 of the Diploma and who have already completed the equivalent units for the Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
You will need to select from variable components that will make up the year 1 diploma:
- theories and principles of planning
- enabling learning
- delivering employability skills
- specialist delivery techniques and activities.

You will need to have obtained the CTLLS (including PTLLS) to attend the course. Also a minimum of 50 hours teaching in a recognised location within the Lifelong Learning sector.
