Preparing to Work in the Adult Care Sector Award Level 1 Awarding Body City & Guilds Course Details This will run for 2 days a week from 09.30-12.00 then 13.00-15.30 with an additional induction morning on the first week. A Course for Those who are considering working in the adult care sector and it would suit those wanting to gain base knowledge of communication, care values and equality topics associated within this sector. Entry Requirements Potential learners need not have any previous knowledge, just a desire to find out more about the underpinning principles of working within the care sector Assessment Assignments and tasks will be externally set and internally marked. Learning Outcome The successful learner will achieve the Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in the Adult Care Sector. Progression after Programme Students can progress to: Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in the Adult Care Sector. Alternatively, learners who secure employment could then progress to Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
