Hairdressing Diploma Level 3 Course Details Level 3 is a Specialist Award which will allow you to greatly develop your hairdressing skills. This course recognises your current level of skills as a hairdresser but moves you to a higher professional standard. The level 3 programme requires competence in a broad range of work activities which are performed in a variety of contexts and requires you to demonstrate your capability to undertake additional responsibilities and the control and guidance of others. This course may include 9.00 am starts and a late night. The Level 3 contains the following units: Monitoring health and safety at work. Promote additional products and services. Consultation techniques for Hairdressing Services Creative cutting. Colour correction services. Creative styling and dressing of hair. Creative dressing of long hair. Develop and enhance your creative skills. Make your business financially effective. Provide creative hair extension services. A Course for Students who wish to progress from Level 2 to develop their hairdressing skills. Students who are already working in the industry and wish to further their career into salon management, teaching and/or training within the hairdressing industry. Entry Requirements Hairdressing Diploma Level 2. Participation in a vocationally related trade test. Formal Interview. Assessment Assessment is continuous throughout the programme and in the work place and you will also be expected to work on assignments. A portfolio of evidence will be produced to show attainment throughout the course. There will also be internal end tests on specific units. Learning Outcome Hairdressing Diploma Level 3.
