Children & Young People’s Workforce Certificate Level 2 Subject to Change Awarding Body: City & Guilds Course Details To achieve the full Level 2 Certificate for Children & Young People’s Workforce you will need to successfully complete a total of 35 credits from the following: 13 Mandatory units (31 credits). Plus up to 3 Optional units (4 credits). Assessment Students are required to build a portfolio of evidence to include workplace observations, assignments, projects and reflective accounts. Learning Outcome Level 2 Certificate for Children & Young People’s Workforce. Progression after Programme Level 3 Diploma for Children & Young People’s Workforce. Additional Information Students must organise their own work placement and police clearance before being accepted onto the course. Due to the level of workplace observation required there will be a minimum number of workplace hours required. All students will be required to attend an interview and will complete an initial assessment for literacy and numeracy prior to being accepted on the programme.
