Aims & ObjectivesThe course covers part of the syllabus for the OCR and IAB Level
2 book-keeping examination requirements.
Following on from what was learnt in module 1, you will learn more
about double entry book-keeping to enable you to keep accurate,
efficient accounting records. From here you will be perfectly
placed to move onto module 3, the final module in this series of
courses.
This course is an ideal follow on for anyone who has
successfully completed our Book-Keeping Level 2 – Module 1
course.
If you would like to work as a book-keeper, accounts assistant or
need to keep accounting records in your own business this course,
along with the other modules, will teach you everything you need to
know to be confident in your role.
There are eight lessons within the Book-Keeping Level 2 – Module
2 course.
These cover the use of the double entry book-keeping system, bank
reconciliation, sales and purchase ledger control accounts,
accounting for bad debt, correcting errors, preparing statements of
account, reconciliation of statements of account, paying invoices
falling due and using information from within the double entry
system to prepare a VAT Return.
