Over the two years you will cover topics such as:
Communication - how we communicate effectively with various service users.
Health, Safety and Security - how hazards are assessed and what health care staff have to do to keep service users and their information safe and secure.
Cultural Diversity - how everyone is different with different needs.
Anatomy and Physiology - how the human body works.

As part of this programme you will need to complete work placement/experience and we will help you organise this.

The Programme Content

This is a Level 3 vocational qualification assessed through course work and assignment. It is equivalent to the AS/A2 Health and Social Care and attracts UCAS points to all you to progress to university.

Entry Requirements

At least five GCSEs, ideally including English Language at grade C or above. A Specialist Diploma or BTEC Level 2 Diploma, ideally with a higher grade. You may be asked to complete a communication assessment.
