sustainable processes.
This course is designed to suit a wide range of people who are
looking to gain the skills to produce sustainable processes for
their business and all the associated benefits.

will last for 15 weeks, and you will be expected to submit
assessment work for that module within that time frame.
An induction period will run three weeks prior to the beginning of
the semester. Attendance at these sessions is compulsory and a very
important part of the programme. During this time ¿ one day a week
for the first three weeks ¿ you will get to know the other students
on the course and be introduced to the tutors and course content.
You will also attend sessions to introduce you to the learning
resources so you can quickly start using resources required for the
main programme.
Progression
Students who successfully complete the FdSc may progress to
stage three of the BSc (Hons) Degree in Environmental Resource
Management, at Cornwall College, Camborne. The modules,
corresponding skills set and underpinning knowledge were analysed
to ensure that students progressing to this award would be in a
strong position to succeed.
The BSc (Hons) in Environmental Resource Management makes an ideal
platform for students to develop their learning further from the
Sustainable Resource Management course, where the foundation of
research skills and software programmes such as SPSS, had been laid
down; and where the wider context of the need for environmental
economics has been understood.
Links between the Petroc campus and that of Camborne will ensure
standardisation of quality, research and resources and enable
students to make the progression smoothly.
Possible career paths are diverse and expanding as the new
renewable industry continues to grow.
