Training

This one day workshop will enable participants to recognise their existing barriers to delivering a difficult message. Through a highly interactive approach participants will develop the process and skills required to manage difficult conversations in a positive and confident manner.

The workshop will benefit senior managers and leaders in the voluntary and community sector, that have to both manage internal relationships and externally collaborate with other organisations.

 Understand how conflict happens and recognise how to manage it effectively

 Build confidence to manage professional relationships

As part of the course delegates will complete a short behavioural profile that will help delegate understand their prefered behavioural style.

Who should attend

Leaders and senior managers within voluntary and community organisations who are managing relationships with individuals (either internally or externally), and who want to develop their personal communication skills and get the best outcome from any potentially difficult scenario.

This training event is part of the CollaborationNI framework commissioned by the Building Change Trust and delivered by a consortium of NICVA, CO3 and Stellar Leadership.
