Description

This course consists of the following:

Looking at basic forms & how to render them in line tone & colour e.g

  • Sphere
  • Cone
  • Cylinder
  • Cube
Then move on to these forms in everyday objects such as fruit & vegetables.

Traditional still life subjects:
  • Books
  • Bottles
  • Lamps
  • Cutlery, pots & pans
From sketch book development of ideas, work into finished pastel work and/or oil paints, acrylic paints, watercolour painting or mixed media study.

Students must be:

  • Aged 19 or over as of 31 August 2012
  • Studying their first ACLS funded course
  • A Nottingham County Council resident
